How It Works

We offer delivery of farm-fresh foods grown by us and by several partner farms. Our members sign up in advance to receive a share in the harvest during the growing season. This is often referred to as Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA.

Members choose from four different types of shares--vegetables, fruit, eggs, and meat. Shares are picked up at the farm in Brodhead or from one of our convenient community pickup sites in Madison or in the Chicago suburbs.

Our certified-organic soils produce some of the best food you’ll ever taste, but membership is about more than just the food. It’s a way to directly participate in a growing movement to protect our shared natural resources and to create a brighter future for family-scale agriculture.

As your farmers, we commit to growing healthy delicious foods for you and to sharing our knowledge about agriculture, environmental stewardship, nutrition and cooking. In addition, we commit to making our farm a place where you are always welcome. We encourage members to spend time here during potlucks, organized work days and informal visits. Our members, in turn, make a financial commitment to support our work by purchasing a CSA share before the delivery season starts.

Step 1. Choose a convenient neighborhood pickup site. Our pickup sites are located in Madison, WI and in the northern and western suburbs of Chicago. Members pick up their shares during the window of time designated for that pickup site.

Step 2. Choose the types of shares you'd like to receive and when you'd like to receive them (spring, summer and/or fall). Then add those items to your cart.

Step 3. Select the payment option that fits your budget. You may pay for your order all at once or in multiple installments.

Step 4. Once you submit your order online, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
