The Fall Vegetable Share

How Long is the Fall Season?

The Fall Season starts on October 14th and lasts for 6 weeks.

What Kinds of Vegetables do Members Receive?

Can Members Choose their Vegetables?

Your produce is selected by us here at the farm based on what is fresh and ready-to-pick that particular week. We pay special attention to creating well-balanced boxes and to making sure our boxes are as varied as possible from week to week. Each week we post 2-3 recipes on our farm blog in order to help our members make the most of the week’s bounty.
How Much Produce do Members Receive?

The average amount of produce received each week is slightly more than half a bushel. This is equivalent to a standard grocery bag. A typical fall share would include the following:

  • 2 leeks
  • 1 bunch beets
  • 1 pound mushrooms
  • 2 pounds rutabaga
  • 1 bunch fresh thyme

We collaborate with several other local organic farmers in order to help protect our members from crop failure and to create a box that is as varied as possible from week to week.

How Much does it Cost?
The Fall Vegetable Share is $185. Members may pay in one lump sum or in multiple installments.
