We farm in Brodhead, Wisconsin, about 1 hour from Madison and 2 hours from Chicago. Our beautiful 45-acre farm is composed of vegetable fields, animal pastures, woods and a small oak savanna and hilltop prairie boasting many native plant species.
We grow dozens of different vegetable crops including tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, melons, squash, cucumbers, beets, carrots, garlic, radishes, lettuce, broccoli, turnips, onions, cabbage, kale, spinach, eggplant, leeks, sweet potatoes, zucchini and green beans.
Our pastures are home to a small flock of sheep and hundreds of chickens that provide meat and eggs for our members. Daisy, our donkey, and Valentine, our milk cow, complete the animal menagerie.
We are fortunate to farm here, and we invite our members to establish a personal connection to this very special place. We invite you to get to know the farm organized work days and special events.
